The 15th Larkspur Party is over! All the vendors packed up and went home leaving Frances Alvarino’s grass very well used, but the garden as lovely as ever. Thanks to all the folks who came. Beth and I chatted with lots of friends and met so many new art and garden lovers. We found lots of interest in our workshops; which means more days of “playing ” with cement!
People were lined up to get in Saturday morning at 10am to get first choice and to beat the heat! Larkspur and summer heat seem to go hand in hand. But the heat just makes you more inventive of ways to stay cool –frozen grapes, lots of cold water, a fan powered by a car battery, cold wet cloths, catching a welcome breeze.
