Lasting Impressions is holding our first 2016 workshop day on Saturday, March 12!
In the morning, 9am-12 noon will be a Hypertufa Workshop. Come and create your own hypertufa planting trough. They can be used in a small garden, on a patio, at your front door, or in a group in a special area. The troughs have excellent drainage, a natural stone-like look, are lightweight for having cement as an ingredient, and create a unique appearance in your garden. You learn how to form a mold, mix the ingredients, build the trough, and take it home with you!! Instructions for curing and planting are provided along with all needed materials. Workshop cost is $75.00.
In the afternoon, 1pm-3pm will be a Concrete Leaf Workshop. Using a real leaf, you will shape a mold, mix the ingredients, form your concrete leaf and take it home with you. It can be hung on a wall or fence or shaped into a birdbath. You will have a one of a kind piece of garden art. Instructions for curing and painting your leaf will be provided along with all needed materials. Workshop cost is $65.00
