These unusual planting troughs are made to simulate the limestone watering troughs used by English farmers centuries ago for livestock. They provide the growing environment and the colors and textures of real stone. Some troughs are made with a faux bois (fake wood) appearance, adding another distinctive feature to these versatile planters. The hypertufa mixture is cement based with an added reinforcement to ensure the trough of many years in the garden. They are lightweight and have excellent drainage for your favorite plants.
